'Goblet Of Fire' Director Calls Rob A "Sweet & Clever Guy"

Be the Red Carpet magazine had a chance to interview Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire director Mike Newell, and he had plenty to say about Rob:

 

BTRC: You worked with Robert Pattinson before he was The Robert Pattinson, do you think you have an eye for talent?

MN: Erm, I don't know if I do. He was obviously good for the movie, he looks like the kind of fighter pilot, the head boy who will go out into the trenches on his second day. He just had that thing. He's a brilliant vampire! He's really good, he's a sweet guy, and he's a clever guy, he's not a dope at all!

It's always nice to hear that Rob leaves a great impression everywhere he goes :)

Emma Watson "Grateful" She's Not Rob

Emma Watson has enjoyed international fame thanks to the Harry Potter series, but she says it's nothing like what Rob has had to deal with. And that brings her relief:

“I can’t even imagine what that kind of fame must be like. So many people must wish they were in his position and think that he has the best life, but actually… there are prices you pay. Don’t interpret that from my perspective; it’s not so bad for me. I’m not in Rob’s position, I don’t have people screaming and crying and clawing at me. I’m so grateful for that”

"It's Great To See Robert In This Huge Thing"

Rupert Grint talked to Attitude magazine about Twilight and Rob:


Q: The films have spawned lots of big stars, such as Robert Pattinson. Are you a fan of the Twilight films?


R: Yeah, definitely. There's no rivalry. I've only seen one-and-a-half of them. My sisters love them. It's great to see Robert in this huge thing.I was pleased for him.

Q: Do you keep in contact?

R: Not really. The last time I saw him was just before he got the Twilight job. I think it was at the fifth film premiere. he just happened to be walking past as he wasn't originally invited because he wasn't in that film. (Laughs).

What is it about Breaking Dawn that you’re so excited about?

The Harry Potter Exhibition opens today in New York's Times Square, and The Stir has a great article on who is really the star of that show:

Dan Radcliffe And Rob.. Paving The Way For Pale Men All Over The Globe

While promoting the latest sure-to-be-a-megahit Harry Potter film, Dan Radcliffe and his sweet sense of humor surfaced when talking about his shirtless scene in the film.. and Rob.

“I did hear from a friend that when I took my shirt off [in the film], there were some wolf-whistles [from the audience], which I was just delighted about!” Daniel told Access Hollywood correspondent Tim Vincent at the film’s junket in London. “I was really, really pleased!”

While many “Potter” fans may find Daniel’s modest reaction surprising, the actor said the catcalls were “amazing,” because he is “quite skinny and pale” – much like his fellow British big screen heartthrob, “Twilight’s” Robert Pattinson.

“I was saying to somebody the other day — someone was talking about this supposed rivalry between Rob Pattinson and I, and what’s awesome about this is, between the pair of us, we are striking a blow for the paler man,” Daniel told Tim.


“We are white as sheets, so it’s a comfort!” he laughed.
