New 'Bel Ami' Screening, Christina Ricci Mentions Rob

The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival will have a screening of Bel Ami on February 19th. Find out how to buy tickets and be there if you can!

Rob's Bel Ami costar Christina Ricci recently talked to Asia One about him:

About Pattinson, Ricci would say only that the Twilight heart-throb, who plays the corrupt protagonist Georges Duroy, was an "amazing" guy to work with.

We are really hoping to hear confirmation on a U.S. release soon!

More 'Bel Ami' Buzz & Amsterdam Gets Screenings

While most of us painfully wait for Bel Ami to be released while we pine over new stills, some fans are getting lucky. Amsterdam is the second city in the last few weeks to schedule public screenings of the film.

If there are still tickets available, you can get them at their site. Have fun ladies!

Some great news for this indie, is that movie critics are taking notice - and in a good way. The London Evening Standard giving Bel Ami its seal of approval:

Still, there are signs of intellectual life in the cinema in 2012: the best-written upcoming movie I've seen is the riveting romp of Bel Ami, with Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas in Maupassant's masterpiece.
Again, it succeeds because the original work is both sexy and clever: a plot turning on multifarious adultery, secret plans to invade Morocco and the power of the 1880s press. And, yes, of course we like to watch Uma in a velvet frock-coat, bewitching the arriviste Robert Pattinson as Georges: but we do have to keep half an eye on the machinations of the proprietors and French intentions in Africa to fully enjoy it.
Like a lot of critics, I've done my share of moaning about dumbing down. So credit where it is due: this looks rather like the year of dumbing up. Sex on screen is cheering. Sex and sensibility's even better.

We hope the good reviews continue!

Just one  word to describe: Perfect!!!

I love the story!!! the role play & the actors.. Rob played it perfectly!!

He plays Georges like he would be him (I would believe he's Georges if I did not know him already) I Love Bel Ami!! I love Georges (I would definitely marry him lol).
I think it's the best character he's played!! (with Edward) it's different to all before  .. he had so much emotions and was erotic,  just adorable!!

and YES we can see him naked  *_*  pureeee erotic!!! omg he's so damn sexy - I bet all Rob lovers stop breathing after watching this movie :) like me.

Rob I thank you!!! And you can say what u want but I agree once more that Rob is one of the best actors in our world!!!
And it was so worth the drive!! Wish I could see Bel Ami now again *_* but now waiting 4 months..
Now realize I saw one of the best movies ever from the men I love every day more and more.

First Full Fan Report In! 'Eclipse' Rough Cut Screened In Chicago

UPDATE: In case you missed the rapid-fire tweets with details after the screening let out, MTV's Hollywood Crush did a nice wrap too. Enjoy!

Thanks to vivian_ortiz, we have the first full report of the Eclipse screening tonight in Chicago. Of course it was a rough cut, but lucky fans that got to be in that audience:

First: We didn’t have to pay for anything. Free Parking [which is awesome if you know how expensive it is to park downtown Chicago] free tickets, free popcorn, and free drink!

Second: I’m not the kind of person who likes to be spoiled before I see a movie so I don’t want to give away too much but I will share my thoughts.

Third: There is no way I can pick a favorite scene right now. With all the excitement and tension going on I’d have to see the movie at least 3 more times to decide. I will say that I LOVED Edward’s proposal. There was so much attention to detail! Yes there were parts where you could tell that the editing process wasn’t complete but it still looked amazing.

Fourth: I am proudly a Team Edward fan but for all those Team Jacob fans, you think you got a good glimpse of him in New Moon, well he spends 99.9% of the time shirtless in Eclipse.

Fifth: There was a lot more humor worked into the scenes of Eclipse [you all know how funny Charlie can be] The chemistry and tension of the Bella, Edward, Jacob love triangle was so much more believable in this movie.

I can’t wait to see the finished product! I’m just as excited as everyone else and still plan to be at the midnight showing of Eclipse!!! I LOVE YOU OPRAH!
