Remember Me cracked the top 30 list compiled by numbers.com.
In making this calculation, we took the production budget, domestic and international box office and domestic DVD sales for each movie released during the year and calculated a rough total gross profit for the film
Rob is named Best Actor of The Year at about 4:45. Plus you also see him in Best Shirtless Moments (or something like that.. w/Taylor). Click on his pic to watch.
Not to mention the ultimate role.. as a Bad Ass Cop!
In 2010 fans also got the best chance to run their fingers through Rob's hair. Unfortunately, it was his wax figure who paid the price.
But the passion fans displayed for everything Rob also had its benefits. Rob was voted sexiest, most talented, most popular, and everything you can imagine related to him in 2010. Here's a list of those titles.
And each and every one of you made quite an impact on twitter, spreading the love for Rob and his roles.
Make no mistake, you are the voice of the fandom, so as 2011 arrives we'd like to thank you for your support of the blog/twitter as we support Rob and his career. Hope you stick around to see what comes next!
We know what half of you are thinking; finally, someone agrees with us and recognizes that Edward and Bella are fated to be together. And we also know what the other half of you are thinking: nooooo, she belongs with Jacob! Whichever way your jib is cut, though, you’ve got to admit that the heroes of both Team Jacob and Team Edward continue to set the bar for on-screen chemistry with their lady love. Now if only we can convince the producers of “The Twilight Saga” to include Team Coco in the next movie…
The Eclipse DVD did really well in holiday sales, just not the 40 million copies that Amazon implied it sold. CNN broke down the math. (Great article, just had to throw it in).
People called the ending a "twist" which I guess means any time you're walking around your house and you stub your toe it's a twist because you didn't expect to do it. This movie presented events in a way no other film has dared to try, the same way we lived it, without knowing and without warning. And I applaud it for having the guts to do so.
Robert Pattinson delivers one of the richest and most weighty performances of any actor this year with his uneasy son and lover at the center of director Allen Coulter’s love letter to 9/11 (yes, there is such a thing). Catch it on DVD – you’ll find it, unjustly, at the ‘bottom’ of the new releases shelf.
Room for more?.. as 2011 arrives, there's buzz building around all of Rob's projects. Water for Elephants is mentioned in several most anticipated film lists including MTV's. And both WFE and Breaking Dawn are among IMDb's Most Popular Feature Films coming out in 2011. Breaking Dawn alsocame in at #2 on Fandango's list and was a favorite of Hit Fix.
Hope you join us on this exciting ride, as we bring you news on all of Rob's movies (Yes, Bel Ami too) and more!
Remember Me is getting some more praise, this time from Moviehole:
I know, I know, ‘but it’s got that guy with more gunk in his hair than Liz Hurley does in her nether regions’ but c’mon! many-a-good-actor have started out in the cinematic mailroom and graduated to an awe-impressive high-rise suite – just look at Robin ‘Mork’ Williams, Josh ‘Goonies’ Brolin, Tom ‘Bosom Buddies’ Hanks or Stephen ‘Evil Ed’ Geoffries! (Ok, bad example) – ain’t Robert Pattinson innocent until the gavel slams down!? This film, a heartrending relationship drama (it’s both about the rapport between a young couple and also one between a young man and his estranged father) that played to the tick of a 9/11 countdown, proved there’s much more to “Twilight” vamp Robert Pattinson than blank stares, sparkles and tree hopping. Quite simply, Pattinson was an eye-opener in this film. Skeptics need see it.
Scriptshadow says the Water for Elephants script is among the best of the year:
You know, this is one of those scripts that shouldn’t have roped me in the way it did. It’s basically a love story. But the great thing about Elephants is that it’s a love story wrapped in a loony dangerous unpredictable package - the Bizarro World version of Titanic. Not to mention it has the best villain I’ve read all year hands down (can’t wait to see what Waltz does with it). You’re not going to read anything like this again for a long time.
Yes, Edward's still dreamy enough to make a girl want to turn vampire to spend eternity with him, but honestly, we're never more drawn to Pattinson than when he's being himself, whether it's playfully arguing with Stewart on the Eclipse DVD commentary or going door-to-door in Chicago inviting Twihards to a taping of Oprah.
Aww, makes us want to revisit those great surprise visits :)
Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe fans fought hard for their favourite to win the poll, but Rob won out with 47% of the vote to Daniel's very respectable 46%.
Rob comes in at #6 on the list of highest grossing actors of 2010, bringing in an estimated $749 million
at the box office according to Forbes.
The Twilight films have been perennial earners, so it's no surprise to see Pattinson on this list. He ranks above his costar Kristen Stewart thanks to Remember Me, a weepy romance that earned a healthy $56 million on an estimated budget of $16 million. Pattinson's next film is an adaptation of the bestselling book Water for Elephants.
Our favorite sparkly vampire tumbled from the top spot this year, even as Eclipse escalated Twilight fever to unforeseen heights. Don't worry, Edward -- Remember Me, we don't.

When the votes were tabulated, Aaron Johnson (No. 10), Russell Brand (No. 9), Christian Bale (No. 8), Robert Pattinson (No. 7), and Andrew Garfield (No. 6) filled out the bottom half of our top 10 list.
PopSugar also named Rob Top Singing Star of 2010 for his performance in Songs from a Room. Later the organizers of that gig, teased Rob may pop up in one of their scheduled US shows.
