Happy New Year Rob fans, 2011 Is Gonna Rock!

With 1/1/11 knocking on our door, we're jumping on the 'Best of' train. Here are our picks for Best of Rob 2010!

We start off with the best proof that Rob will nail his job as a daddy in Breaking Dawn (and we're guessing Water for Elephants too). Sigh..

In 2010, Rob also proved that he can sell anything to a willing audience.. a burgundy suit, sure!

Dirt?.. we love him even more!

Not to mention the ultimate role.. as a Bad Ass Cop!

In 2010 fans also got the best chance to run their fingers through Rob's hair. Unfortunately, it was his wax figure who paid the price.

But the passion fans displayed for everything Rob also had its benefits. Rob was voted sexiest, most talented, most popular, and everything you can imagine related to him in 2010. Here's a list of those titles.

And each and every one of you made quite an impact on twitter, spreading the love for Rob and his roles.

Make no mistake, you are the voice of the fandom, so as 2011 arrives we'd like to thank you for your support of the blog/twitter as we support Rob and his career. Hope you stick around to see what comes next!

Rob & His Projects = Tons Of End Of The Year Mentions!

There are so many in fact, that we decided to put'em all in one post. Nice and tight for you to read. Click on the links if you want to learn more :)

Of course the obvious: Sexiest Man of 2010!
Best of 2010: Rob

Named E! Online Celeb of the Year,  Best Dramatic Actor of 2010 (BuzzSugar), Favorite Male, Best Beard, and pretty much everything he was nominated for on PopSugar's readers' choice. He also came in at #7 in USA Today's Heat Index for 2010, our fave E! journalist Marc Malkin loved interviewing him, and even Rob's wax figure got a Best of 2010 mention by MTV's Buzzworthy. Hollywood News calls him The Hollywood Hot Male Star of the Year, plus let's not forget that suit that turned heads at the Eclipse premiere. It earned him a spot on MTV Style's Red Carpet Stunners.

Best of 2010: Twilight series

ET's Pop Culture Movie Moments, Biggest Video on Demand -Comcast (New Moon was #3), and among the high-grossing films around the world according Box Office Mojo with an impressive $693.5 million worldwide. Eclipse was the Most Searched Movie Trailer on Google, while Next Movie named Bella and Edward as Best Movie Couple and gave the 2010 thumbs up to the Eclipse soundtrack.

FTW: Bella and Edward

We know what half of you are thinking; finally, someone agrees with us and recognizes that Edward and Bella are fated to be together. And we also know what the other half of you are thinking: nooooo, she belongs with Jacob! Whichever way your jib is cut, though, you’ve got to admit that the heroes of both Team Jacob and Team Edward continue to set the bar for on-screen chemistry with their lady love. Now if only we can convince the producers of “The Twilight Saga” to include Team Coco in the next movie…

Runner-up: Bella and Jacob
There was also MTV's Best Twilight moments (below) and Top 25 stories of 2010.

The Eclipse DVD did really well in holiday sales, just not the 40 million copies that Amazon implied it sold. CNN broke down the math. (Great article, just had to throw it in).

Best of 2010: Remember Me

Our favorite mention came from Rope of Silicon which named Remember Me as the Most Misunderstood film of the Year.
People called the ending a "twist" which I guess means any time you're walking around your house and you stub your toe it's a twist because you didn't expect to do it. This movie presented events in a way no other film has dared to try, the same way we lived it, without knowing and without warning. And I applaud it for having the guts to do so.
Perhaps the writer really got the concept of the film that so many missed, after talking to Remember Me screenwriter Will Fetters. (Another one of our fave articles).

MovieHole also put Remember Me on its Best of 2010 list:

Robert Pattinson delivers one of the richest and most weighty performances of any actor this year with his uneasy son and lover at the center of director Allen Coulter’s love letter to 9/11 (yes, there is such a thing). Catch it on DVD – you’ll find it, unjustly, at the ‘bottom’ of the new releases shelf.

Room for more?.. as 2011 arrives, there's buzz building around all of Rob's projects. Water for Elephants is mentioned in several most anticipated film lists including MTV'sAnd both WFE and Breaking Dawn are among IMDb's Most Popular Feature Films coming out in 2011. Breaking Dawn also came in at #2 on Fandango's list and was a favorite of Hit Fix.

Hope you join us on this exciting ride, as we bring you news on all of Rob's movies (Yes, Bel Ami too) and more!

'Remember Me' & 'Water for Elephants' On 'Best Of 2010' Lists

Remember Me is getting some more praise, this time from Moviehole:

I know, I know, ‘but it’s got that guy with more gunk in his hair than Liz Hurley does in her nether regions’ but c’mon! many-a-good-actor have started out in the cinematic mailroom and graduated to an awe-impressive high-rise suite – just look at Robin ‘Mork’ Williams, Josh ‘Goonies’ Brolin, Tom ‘Bosom Buddies’ Hanks or Stephen ‘Evil Ed’ Geoffries! (Ok, bad example) – ain’t Robert Pattinson innocent until the gavel slams down!? This film, a heartrending relationship drama (it’s both about the rapport between a young couple and also one between a young man and his estranged father) that played to the tick of a 9/11 countdown, proved there’s much more to “Twilight” vamp Robert Pattinson than blank stares, sparkles and tree hopping. Quite simply, Pattinson was an eye-opener in this film. Skeptics need see it.

Scriptshadow says the Water for Elephants script is among the best of the year:

You know, this is one of those scripts that shouldn’t have roped me in the way it did. It’s basically a love story. But the great thing about Elephants is that it’s a love story wrapped in a loony dangerous unpredictable package - the Bizarro World version of Titanic. Not to mention it has the best villain I’ve read all year hands down (can’t wait to see what Waltz does with it). You’re not going to read anything like this again for a long time.

Eclipse was also named among the top films of the year by Access Hollywood, and Rob was among the most popular actors of 2010 in Just Jared's list.

As 2010 comes to a close, we can't help but wonder what project Rob will pick next. One thing is for sure, 2011 will be one busy year for him!

Rob Makes The Cut: Entertainment Weekly's 30 Sexiest Stars Of 2010

EW:
Yes, Edward's still dreamy enough to make a girl want to turn vampire to spend eternity with him, but honestly, we're never more drawn to Pattinson than when he's being himself, whether it's playfully arguing with Stewart on the Eclipse DVD commentary or going door-to-door in Chicago inviting Twihards to a taping of Oprah.
Aww, makes us want to revisit those great surprise visits :)

Can Rob Bring In The Dough?.. Oh Yeah, Says Forbes

Rob comes in at #6 on the list of highest grossing actors of 2010, bringing in an estimated $749 million
at the box office according to Forbes.

The Twilight films have been perennial earners, so it's no surprise to see Pattinson on this list. Pattinson's next film is an adaptation of the bestselling book Water for Elephants.
Go Rob!
