According to ATV Today (via), Rob won Favorite UK Actor at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (UK). Congratulations Rob! - UPDATE: Here's the link for the official announcement.
Now if we could just get some slime on that pretty face..
So a dark-haired cutie named Banana Joe is the talk of the world today, after winning Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York. And that got us thinking, what would Bear be winning if he had entered the prestigious competition...
Bear learned early on, you are nothing if you don't have a killer pose. And he nailed that early on!
Of course the next lesson was in smizing. He picked that up just by hanging out with dad.
Bear would also be a front-runner for Best Cameo Appearance (if there was such a category). Such a cutie! and if you listen to the clip, you'll learn why he would totally win in the Most Spoiled category as well.
Hands down Bear would SO win the Best Meme title. You can thank MTV for this one.
Most importantly, Bear would win Best Brother. Bernie is a lucky dog!
We asked you to show your support for Rob in the iVillage Entertainment awards, and you came through! - the winners were announced today, and Rob and Twilight made a clean sweep:
After accumulating 10 iVillage Entertainment Awards over the past two years, the vampires of the Cullen clan are clear winners for the third year in a row. Twilight was voted as the “Film Franchise You’re Most Obsessed With,” and the vampires from Breaking Dawn won in the category of “Movie Crew You’d Most Want to Hang With.” Robert Pattinson once again swept all the categories he was nominated for, winning “Hottest Breaking Dawn Hunk” with 2/3 of votes, “Sexiest Onscreen Chemistry” with costar Kristen Stewart, and “Man You’d Trade Your Husband For,” taking home the award for the third consecutive year. And Taylor Lautner’s sculpted abs in Breaking Dawn won “Best Onscreen Shirtless Moment,” beating Chris Evans in Captain America and Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid, Love.
You can look at how Rob kicked everyone's butt in each individually category on iVillage, but you really want to watch the Today show talking about him: "Women of all ages are obsessed with him" (and there's nothing wrong with that!).
UPDATE 12/16: A little more video from that night has surfaced (3:15 and 4:00).
Earlier this month Rob popped in to present an award to Chris Weitz in LA, and now there's a few seconds worth of video. (at about 1:04) - But really the story of the contestants the story follows is a good one, so watch if you get a chance.
The Hamilton Awards were presented tonight in LA, and Rob presented an award to director Chris Weitz being honored for A Better Life. Awww.. Chris later thanked him on twitter. Congratulations!
Visibly nervous and embarrassed, Pattinson started saying that he "would rather that this room was full of Twilight fans, since they wouldn't care to notice how bad he's is for speeches". The actor, however, started a curious tribute. "When I met Chris I wanted to be friends with him in seconds. He is a trememendous artist... and I think it's bizarre to be here saying behaved things about him, since in our last conversation we were talking about going to Coachella to eat some mushrooms" - to what Weitz yelled "SOUP! Mushrooms soup!".
When asked how he got Pattinson to take part in the show, CBS honcho Jack Sussman told press, “We invited him, he said yes. He’s bringing Reese Witherspoon and we’re putting on a big party…it’ll be a big weekend here in Vegas, have a lot of big acts, he’s going to join us…”
