'Breaking Dawn' Part 1 Soundtrack Promo Hits The Road!

UPDATE: Summit has announced all the dates, locations, and what members of the cast will be part of the concert tour! READ ON.

The Hollywood Reporter and MTV had the big exclusives today, when it came to the Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack.

First off, MTV will air a first look at the video for the Bruno Mars track 'It Will Rain,' during a special next Wednesday, October 26th. The best part? it will include a new Breaking Dawn clip. Learn more about the special at MTV, and if you live in New York you could even get a chance to attend the event.

The big scoop from the Hollywood Reporter, was that some members of the cast will join some of the bands from the soundtrack in a promo tour across the country (Nov. 7-11):

Exactly which Twilight characters will appear in the flesh has yet to be revealed, but the mini-tour kicks off in Atlanta and will travel to concert venues in Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Salt Lake City. Singer Christina Perri (slated to play three dates), Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz andSleeping At Last (booked for other two dates) will each perform a brief set including the song they contributed to the movie’s soundtrack.

'Breaking Dawn' Part 1 Soundtrack: Christina Perri Preview On The Way!

It sounds like this week we'll get a preview of the Christina Perri song for the Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack!

In advance of the track release, a 30-second preview will be available on THE TWILIGHT SAGA Facebook page (Facebook.com/Twilight) starting this Thursday, October 10^th , (We're thinking they messed up on the date, probably mean the 13th) featured on a special "Soundtrack" tab. Additionally, the lyric video for "A Thousand Years" will premiere exclusively via www.christinaperri.com beginning at midnight October 18^th. The music video for "A Thousand Years," which was directed by Jay Martin (who also directed the video, "Jar of Hearts") will be released in early November.

Official 'Breaking Dawn' Soundtrack List Is Out!

Summit confirmed today that the songs circulating on a leaked track list, are indeed all part of the Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack. It will be released November 8th and you can pre-order it now. Chop Shop Music has also put together a list of the soundtrack artists on twitter (Twilight Lexicon adds a few more). We're a little disappointed that Muse is not involved this time around, but there's always Breaking Dawn Part 2!
