Breaking Dawn: 'A Thousand Years' Performed On 'Glee'

We love the song because self-confessed twihard Christina Perri wrote it for Breaking Dawn. It was performed on Glee this week and we thought they did a great job with it. Here are the two versions so you can compare.

People Talking Rob: Patti Smith, Daniel Cudmore

Singer Patti Smith recently mentioned Rob while talking to EW about her memoir:

“I remember the very first time I saw Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson together, when they were younger, and I thought, ‘Those two kids could have easily played us when they were first starting,” said Smith. “There’s something in his eyes. And Robert [Mapplethorpe] was also a bit shy, and a bit stoic. Kristen has a very special quality. She’s not conventionally beautiful, but very charismatic.”

Daniel Cudmore also talked about Rob in his interview with Glamour:

Q: Phew! Did you get to hang out much with Rob, Kristen and Taylor during filming?

A: Um, not so much Taylor. Rob and Kristen a little bit, here and there. During filming they were
always working. So, a little bit off camera, but not a lot.

Q: Because you had that great scene with Robert in New Moon, is that the one that people talk to you most about?

A: I think so, just because it was the first experience with the character and also the fact the lead character is almost being killed, um, a lot of fans weren't too happy with me, which in turn I was thrilled about because it means I did my job properly.

He He, He He.. Beavis And Butt-Head Want To Be Edward

We had heard rumblings of this at Comic-Con, and now it looks like it's confirmed. Beavis and Butt-Head are back from.. juvie? and right away they're taking on Twilight. The show's director giving Collider a bit of a preview this week:

"There’s an episode where they see Twilight, and all these girls are into vampires and vampires are sexy, so they try to become undead."

We don't hate the idea.. would actually love to see how they portray Edward. Can't say he feels the same way.. :p

Beavis and Butt-Head premieres October 27th, on MTV.

Turns Out Even Mitt Romney Is A Huge Fan

Speaking to the Today show,  Mitt Romney admitted he read Twilight and liked it:

“I thought it was fun,” Romney added. “I don’t like vampires personally, I don’t know any but you know my granddaughter was reading it and I thought, well this looks like fun so I read that.”

You can watch him talk about it below at about :35.

Romney has been a fan of the series for a while, even asking Rob for a picture when they both were guests on The View in 2010:

Romney wasn't oblivious to the importance of RPatz. Our former gov asked Pattinson to pose with him for this photo backstage, and apparently told the actor that he’s a big fan of Stephenie Meyer's teen vampire series.

Who knew.. fanboys rock!

Thanks Pattinsonstew :)

'80s Heartthrob Vamp Talks Rob, Twilight

The suit similarities are.. eerie

If you're old enough to remember Robert Sean Leonard's take as a vamp in My Best Friend is a Vampire you're in our camp. He chatted with TheFABLife about Rob and vampires in Twilight.. a bit of an odd concept for him. On both counts.

Artist Talks About Capturing Rob's Essence

MTV got a chance to talk to Richard Phillips about his painting of Rob:
"I think that the greatest pressure for me was getting Robert Pattinson's expression right because he is...certainly Leo is important in terms of his character and the gravitas he has, but with Robert it's that kind of knowing smirk or that sexy look in his masculine, yet feminine qualities that people die for that's a hard thing to grab"

Parks And Recreation Goes All Out For 'Twilight'

We usually see mentions of Rob or Twilight in shows, but NBC's Parks and Recreation took it a step further (as Aziz Ansari had warned) - the results were hilarious.
