Gucci A Big Part of 'Cosmopolis' Says Costume Designer

As you know by now, Rob can pretty much rock any look he decides to go with (red suit anyone?) - but he looked particularly good during the filming of Cosmopolis. Now costume designer Denise Cronenberg tells Grazia magazine why, and shares her experience on working with Rob:

Grazia Daily: You’re working on Cosmopolis with Robert Pattinson now, what’s that been like?

Denise Cronenberg: Oh, he’s lovely! He’s such a nice, sweet kid. He’s intelligent and smart; he was very brave to take on something like this because I think he was quite hesitant at first. But David is wonderful with actors and he’s a father of three, so he uses that. He and Robert had a wonderful relationship. It was an unusual film to do, very unusual. We had to do a rave, street fires and have cars exploding for this film! David and I decided what we thought we’d put Robert in. I then talked to Gucci who were incredible and gave us all his clothes. He’s dressed from head to toe in Gucci from the tie to his socks! And we had no money, like really, no money so we could never have done it without them.

And did he look incredible or what??

Even with pie all over it, that Gucci outfit looks.. absolutely yummy. Right Rob? ;)

Rob Inspired Gucci Collection

Ah yes, the Eclipse premiere suit that had everyone talking..

The Golden Globes one that just made you swoon..

And let's not forget the hot looks he sported at the Water for Elephants and New Moon premieres

We already know Rob loves to wear Gucci, and as it turns out, Gucci showed some love to Rob with its latest collection:

Frida Giannini, creative director for the brand, says she was thinking of the posh world of Savile Row during the 1960s as epitomized by actor Michael Caine, even in his roguish "Alfie" moments, or today's Robert Pattinson, the 24-year-old British heartthrob of the "Twilight" saga.

Oh, and Giannini didn't stop there. She also made Brando sized comparisons when she talked to GQ (at around 4:20).

"For example between the upcoming actors, I have to say that Robert Pattinson I'm sure is going to have a brilliant career."

We couldn't agree more! - Can you envision Rob in Gucci's Spring-Summer 2012 collection? eh.. the bow tie may take a bit of getting used to (no offense Marc Malkin). Check out the rest of the potential outfits we may see Rob in, at their online boutique.
