The Oklahoma Daily shared some of the details of Eric Maddox's visit to the University of Oklahoma earlier this week. His speech included several Rob mentions, and he also talked about the shirt he may get to wear when he films Mission: Blacklist. “Somebody wants to make a movie about my story - it’s very exciting,” Maddox said.
Maddox said he has already met and gotten to know Pattinson.
“He’s a great guy,” Maddox said. “When they brought his name up to me, I had never heard of him before. I don’t believe in vampire movies and stories. I just didn’t know who he was.”
Maddox said he wore a single blue shirt for months in his search for Hussein, with no other changes of clothes. The shirt has a bigmouth bass embossed on it, Velcro pockets and bloodstains.
“I’ve still got it [the shirt.] I think Rob is gonna wear it in the movie”.
Read the rest. Filming is reportedly set to begin next month, but no exact date has been confirmed. Keep you posted.
When this cover came out, not everyone loved it like we did. But after you hear the story that comes with it, we think the naysayers may change their mind.
When a fan recently found out that Rob was responsible for freeing his photo shoot partner, she shared all the details.
Well, we all know this picture right? I was visiting Insta-gator in Louisiana last weekend with some fellow twilighters and happened to spot it on the wall. I raced over to it and, although the pic doesn't show it clearly, the paper above the pic says that the alligator, appropriately named, Hollywood, lives at the ranch and that if you ask the tour guide, you can meet him!!!! I immediately went into stealth mode knocking people over trying to find the guide because anything that touched Rob, I MUST TOUCH! Anyway, finally found the guide, who we had nicknamed Marshmallow Man, because he fed the gators marshmallows and because he was hot, and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about, all braun, no brains, I guess. He told us to go ask the short, red-headed guy. So I did, and do you know what he told me? He said, "Hollywood's not here anymore. Rob paid to have him released back into the wild. It's the only time we've ever done that." Needless to say, tears started to form, not because I didn't get to meet the gator, but because our Rob is that sweet! I cried and love him even more if that's possible!
There's also a video (via) where Rob is mentioned as the gator rescuer :")
So not only did Bear get a new lease on life when Rob adopted him in Louisiana, a gator also gained his freedom because of him. One of the many reasons we are so proud to be his fans. Way to go Rob!
This week we had news from the people behind Rob's future and current films.
Stephenie Meyer talks to the Inquirer about the first time she met Rob and they butted heads about Edward. She also shares plenty of Twilight memories. It's a must read.
The Rover director David Michôd has recently been very chatty about the project. Read what he told WHO magazine about working with Rob (via).
Map to the Stars
Real Style Network caught up with Map to the Stars producer Martin Katz, who described the film as an “absurdist comedy.” Read what else he has to say about what sounds like a super fun project for Rob.
Caught up? - stay tuned for the very latest on everything Rob.
Do you get a say in who acts with you in Judd’s movies? Are you gonna team up with someone from "Twilight" as a love interest?
Yeah, I have this great idea for me and R. Patz! We're making out and... (laughing). No, everything is discussed with everyone who’s involved, but no, I’m not going to be having any love scenes with Robert Pattinson. Even though I think he’s really cute. That would be disgusting.
We actually love Leslie's sense of humor and have you seen her in 'This is 40?' - she has one hot bod!
